Costs for Coaching and Psychotherapy in Munich or Online
Psychotherapy in English
Individual therapy sessions:
The fee for a 50-minute session is between €134 and €168. There may be additional costs for reports or tests.
A weekly to two-week rhythm has been well proven. The number of sessions strongly depends on your personal situation. There is no fixed amount of sessions or required commitment from the outset.
Group therapy:
Group therapy is usually covered by health insurance. Without health insurance coverage (self-payer), a 100-minute session costs 130€.
ADHD diagnosis:
The diagnosic process takes a total of 100 to 125 minutes and usually involves 3 to 4 appointments at the practice. The cost for the entire diagnosis is €674.03. Upon request, a detailed report on the test results can be provided. The detailed report costs €306.00. Billing is based on the fee schedule for psychotherapists (GOP).
An overview of the diagnostic process and cost estimate can be found in the document available for download below. It also includes the consent form for diagnostics, which you should fill out and send or bring with you if you decide to undergo ADHD diagnostics.
Private Health Insurance:
The costs for therapy may be reimbursed by private health insurance providers. It is best to get in touch with your health insurance company and ask which benefits and to what extent they will be covered as the contracts often vary.
Statutory health insurance:
As my private practice is not licensed to provide treatment by a statutory health insurance provider, the costs of treatment cannot be reimbursed by the statutory health insurance provider. In justified exceptional cases (e.g., if you cannot find a contracted therapist with available appointments), reimbursement by statutory health insurance funds is also possible. The decisive factor here is proof that you have not been able to obtain a suitable therapy slot with a therapist approved by your health insurance fund within a reasonable period of time. I cooperate successfully with the service provider Tepavi. They take care of all the bureaucratic hassle for you, and you only pay a one-time fee to Tepavi if your health insurance fund approves the costs for treatment in my private practice. Of course, it is also possible to do this without the help of Tepavi. The best way to find out about this is to contact your health insurance provider first and take a look at my guide to cost reimbursement below. Simply click on the “Guide to cost reimbursement” link below. At the end of the guide you will find all the important documents for the application to your health insurance company for download. You can also download the information brochure of the Federal Chamber of Psychotherapists (in German) linked below and contact me if you have any questions. I would like to point out that my fee is higher than the fixed rates for health insurance. You will therefore have to pay a moderate amount yourself.

Coachings in English
Coachings:
Coaching is not a medical treatment and is therefore not covered by health insurance. However, in many cases you can deduct the expenses from your tax bill as income-related expenses or business expenses. Your tax advisor can provide more information on this. An invoice of €150 plus VAT is charged for a 50-minute coaching session.
